Terms of Service

BedrockCapsule Discord Bot • Effective Date: October 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By inviting or using the BedrockCapsule bot ("Bot") on your Discord server, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please remove the Bot from your server.

2. Permitted Use & Constraints

The Bot is designed solely to post automated Minecraft Bedrock backup status notifications triggered by the BedrockCapsule desktop software. You agree not to:

  • Abuse or spam the Bot's webhook endpoints with unauthorized, non-BedrockCapsule payloads.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or cause intentional denial-of-service on the Bot's infrastructure.
  • Use the Bot in any manner that violates Discord's official Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.

3. Availability & Service Interruptions

The Bot is provided free of charge on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind.

While we strive for continuous 24/7 uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted delivery of notifications. We are not liable for missed or delayed notifications caused by Discord API outages, rate limits, internet disruptions, or server maintenance.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer of BedrockCapsule shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Bot.

The Bot only possesses basic "Send Messages" and "Embed Links" permissions. It has zero capability to delete channels, ban users, modify roles, or tamper with your Discord server.

5. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to revise these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be published directly to this page. Continued use of the Bot following any update constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
