Privacy Policy

BedrockCapsule Discord Bot • Effective Date: October 2026

1. Zero Personal Data Collected

The BedrockCapsule bot operates as a simple, one-way notification pipeline. We take your privacy seriously. The Bot does not read, collect, or store any personal data, chat messages, user profiles, or server message logs.

The Discord message reading intent is completely disabled in our bot configuration. The Bot cannot read what members type in your server.

2. What Information Is Received

The Bot only receives notification payloads explicitly pushed from your authenticated BedrockCapsule desktop app running locally on your computer. These payloads contain:

  • Your Minecraft world name (e.g. "Survival World")
  • Backup archive file size (e.g. "45.2 MB")
  • Timestamp of the completed backup
  • The Discord Channel ID you chose in your desktop settings

3. Ephemeral Processing & No Databases

We do not run any database to log your backups or server activity. All notification payloads are processed in-memory, delivered to your specified Discord channel via the Discord API, and immediately discarded.

Once the message appears in your channel, our servers retain absolutely zero record of the event.

4. Third-Party Services

The Bot communicates solely with the official Discord API to send messages. We do not sell, share, or transfer any data to third-party tracking or advertising services.

5. Policy Changes

If we make changes to this policy, updates will be posted directly to this page. Continued use of the BedrockCapsule bot indicates your acceptance of any updates.
